Welcome to Beechenhurst Café

We are a family run business that set out to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with amazingly good food and drink, all served with a smile from the heart of the beautiful Forest of Dean.

From the beginning it was important to us to create somewhere we would go ourselves with our family, so we are pleased to welcome everyone, and our team really hope you’ll notice that our menu has been thoughtfully put together to cater for all tastes, appetites and dietary requirements. We also have a special menu for your little ones!

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Forest of Dean, Beechenhurst Cafe sits on the former site of the Speech House Colliery. It is now the ideal base for a family day out with the adjacent adventure play area suitable for all ages and abilities, also a great starting point for the famous Sculpture trail, family cycle track or one of the way marked walks starting from Beechenhurst Lodge.
